Does anyone have any new ideas about game day parking?...

I like where we park, Oconee Street Methodist Church, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any new options.  I prefer to be on the East side of downtown.

We paid $35 per game last season.  I hope it will be the same this season.

The downtown United Methodist Church has parking. I went to that church when I was in school.

We had to pay $40.35, every game. The .35really got me! Parking a mile away from the stadium! That sealed it for us.

We are about a mile from the stadium, but it isn't a bad walk and we go by another tailgate where we have friends who will give us a beer.  I guess our place isn't too bad really.  We have access to a bathroom, some shade from trees and the other people who park there are nice.

I was curious as to if there were any new options on the east side of downtown.  We used to park in a lot on Hull that was very convenient to downtown and the stadium.  The problem there was, when we would leave to come home, we had to wait for traffic to clear to get out of the lot and then drive through downtown to get back to 78 East towards Augusta and traffic getting out of downtown added 30-45 minutes to an hour to the return trip.  It takes us about 5-10 minutes to get on the highway heading home after we leave the parking spot now.

I guess if they stay at $35 per game, I'll stay where I am.
