FORT WORTH, Texas – The Georgia gymnastics team scored a 197.2625 in the first session of the 2026 NCAA National Championship Semifinal at Dickies Arena on Thursday. Georgia finished third in the first session and sixth overall to close out the 2026 season. Georgia's 197.2625 is the best team score posted by the GymDogs at the National Championships since scoring a 197.550 in the Super Six in 2014. Sixth place is Georgia's best finish since 2016 (third in the semifinal round, sixth in the Super Six).

COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- The six-seed Georgia men's tennis team defeated No. 11- seed Kentucky in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Thursday afternoon at the George P. Mitchell '40 Tennis Center at Texas A&M.  The Bulldogs advance to the quarterfinals and will face No. 3-seed LSU on Friday, April 17.

OCALA, Fla. – The third-seeded Georgia equestrian team took down the six-seeded Oklahoma State Cowgirls, 14-5, in the quarterfinals of the 2026 NCEA National Championship. Georgia will face No. 2 Texas A&M in the semifinals of the NCEA National Championship on Friday, April 17, at 9 a.m. ET.

NORMAN, Okla. — The No. 4 seeded Georgia women's tennis team (17-4, 12-3 SEC) is set to open postseason play at the 2026 Southeastern Conference Tournament with a quarterfinal match against No. 5 Texas (17-6, 11-4 SEC) on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. ET at the Headington Family Tennis Center. Georgia enters the SEC Tournament as the No. 4 seed after finishing second in the regular season. No. 1 seed Oklahoma, No. 2 seed Texas A&M and No. 3 seed Auburn shared the regular-season title in a three-way tie.

ATHENS, Ga. — Freddie Dilione V, Penn State's leading scorer both overall and in Big Ten play last season, has signed to join the Georgia Bulldogs for his senior season in 2026-27, head coach Mike White announced on Thursday. David Ugonna Ike, a premier post prospect from Nigeria and the NBA Academy Africa, has signed papers to continue his basketball career with the Georgia Bulldogs, head coach Mike White announced on Thursday. Greensboro, Ga.  – Georgia head coach Kirby Smart will once again represent the Bulldogs in the 19th annual Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament held April 26 – 28 at Reynolds Lake Oconee outside of Atlanta. This represents coach Smart's 10th appearance in the Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge as he looks to add to the $353,750 in charitable winnings he's already won in previous events.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. / WINSTON SALEM, N.C.— Georgia Track and Field will split this weekend, competing at both the Wake Forest Invite and Florida's Tom Jones Memorial. 

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia will hold its annual lettermen's flag football game prior to the G-Day spring scrimmage on Saturday, April 18 on Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.  Nearly 60 Bulldog letterwinners from six different decades are expected to participate in the game. Gates are scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m. and the lettermen's game will start at 10:45.  Kickoff for G-Day is slated for 1 p.m. Roster
