ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia Direction of Track & Field Caryl Smith Gilbert has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Women's Coach of the Year, according to a USTFCCCA announcement Monday. This marks Smith Gilbert's first honor of this kind indoors and the school's second (2018).  Smith Gilbert garnered National Women's Coach of the Year outdoors in 2018, 2021 (first two at USC) and 2025.

ATHENS, GA.-----Georgia, ranked as high as No. 4 nationally this week, returns to action Tuesday at Foley Field when the Owls of Kennesaw State visit Foley Field. First pitch will be at 3:02 p.m. and be available on the SECN+ and the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network. 

TORUŃ, Poland – Former Georgia Bulldog Christopher Morales-Williams captured his first career world title, while three additional Georgia representatives secured medals at the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships held at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena this weekend. 

ATHENS, Ga. – The 6th-seeded University of Georgia gymnastics team earned a berth into the NCAA postseason and will compete at the NCAA Tempe Regional held April 1-4 at Desert Financial Arena, the NCAA announced Monday. The Tempe Regional will begin on Wednesday, April 1, with the first round featuring host Arizona State and Arizona at 5 p.m. ET. The winner will advance to the second round on Thursday, April 2. Round two will feature two sessions. Session I will include No. 6 Georgia, No. 11 Michigan State, BYU, and Southern Utah at 4 p.m. ET.  Session II will feature No. 3 Florida, No. 14 Cal, and Penn State, as well as the first-round winner at 10 p.m. ET. The top two teams from each second-round session will advance to the Regional Final at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 4.
