College sports had a good run...

It's over

It won't be long before players in any sport can come back to college teams if their pro career doesn't work out.

While I really disagree with this incident, apparently the rule is that as long as you haven’t declared for the NBA Draft or hired an agent you’re good to go.

That is the rule NOW.  Wait until some player who was drafted or hired an agent, declared for the draft and wasn't drafted or didn't make the team decides to sue so he can come back to college and get NIL money.  The same thing is going to happen with football.  A player will hire an agent, get drafted, not make the team or be put on the practice squad and he will sue to come back to college where he can make more in NIL money.

True.  It really is hard to get excited about it too much.  Basketball in general is really a ghetto sport now.

Yeah, but you'll be the first to go.
