This game is going to be a street fight...

Deboer is coaching for his coaching life, and Kirby is coaching for his legacy.   We win and Deboer is back on the hot seat...we lose, and Kirby has to keep answering why he can't get over the Bama hump more than 1 out of every 8-10 games.

The talent is fairly even...so, this game will come down to coaching and how much of an impact the crowd has on the game.

One thing is for sure, EVERY play, every trick, every tiny thing will be used and thought of for this one.   (There is a slight chance the weather is a factor too).  I will predict you will see at least one trick play from us Saturday...hopefully, we can execute.

As we all know, there are 2-3 areas where we need improved play over UT game:   Right side of the OL, Secondary and getting some pressure on the QB.  I expect to see Glover and Hughley making an attempt to hold down that right side of the OL.  We may see 3 corners in the game for a good portion of the game Saturday too.   Pressure on the QB...who knows, it wouldn't shock me to see a safety or corner blitz a couple of times though.

I really liked what a saw from Josh McCray against UT.   We may see a big dose of him if we get a lead.

This has been said by a couple of the talking heads, but I also expect a big game from Zachariah Branch...wouldn't be crazy to see him get 10 touches.   For some reason, I think you may see Noah Thomas show up for this game too.

For JC and all that is holy, PLEASE PLEASE Bobo, DO NOT run a D. Bell end around or a slow developing counter play!!!

To go back to the start...Sanford is going to be wild!!  Buckle up!

The only physical team Bama has played pushed them around. Not saying that will decide the game, but it gives me a little optimism that the Dawgs can wear their asses out. 28-17 Dawgs.

I'm not sure the D is good enough this year to save us from Bobo in this game.

You could be right...I do believe the Defense is better than they've shown.

I sure hope so.  Tennessee rolled up and down the field for most of the game and Bama has as much talent as Tennessee.  Our DBs looked like the CMR/Martinez DBs who weren't within 5 yds of the receivers.  Ironically, the long passes from Tennessee were plays where the DB was step for step with the receiver.  The DL is getting very little pressure on qbs, not only in the Tennessee game but even against the warm up teams we played.  I don't know if that is a coaching or talent thing.  The LBs have looked good but they can't do it all.

The offense looks like every Bobo offense of the last 20 years, wherever he was the coach or OC.

I certainly think they are better than how they looked in the beginning of the Tennessee game.  I think that QB is pretty good, but ultimately, they made adjustments to slow him down, and bring him to a stop at the end of the game.  I think he was straight up rattled.

I actually feel pretty good about this game, but I also know that the ghosts of Bama's past might show up and infect the collective Dawg brain.  I'm going to be there, trying to do my part.  Hopefully we cause some false starts and Kirby can actually say something nice about the crowd this week.

Kirby needs to give the crowd something to get fired up about.  His employees have not exactly been producing enough at the home games to justify their inflated salaries.  I hope he let them know their production has not been up to expectations in their first quarter reviews.

Deboer is 2-4 as Bama's coach in road games

Georgia hasn't lost a home game in 2,199 days.

You going to pick Bama to win big?  Gotta keep your streak going, right?  Big Grin

Good people.  We're actually going to be late to our tailgate.  My kid has to participate in a parade that morning.  We're just down the road by the Wesley, but if we find ourselves homeless sometime, I'll definitely hit you up.

Hope you're correct.  I'd be satisfied with another 3 point OT win.

(not sure my heart can take it though)   Wink
