ATHENS, Ga. – Four Georgia football gameday traditions were named USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Award nominees, per a release on Monday from USA TODAY.
The University of Georgia fight song, 'Glory, Glory,' was nominated for Best Fight Song.
Sanford Stadium is a nominee for Best College Football Stadium.
'Uga' is up for Best Mascot.
The Athens tailgate scene was included on the ballot for Best Tailgating Experience.
Voting for the USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Awards is open now and ends on August 17th at 11:59 a.m. ET. The top 10 winners, as ranked by the USA TODAY Sports readers, will be announced on August 26th at 12:00 p.m. ET.
The USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Awards aims to highlight can't-miss experiences, events and destinations, as well as top-notch products, providing readers with trusted recommendations. In 2025, the University of Georgia was voted as a runner-up for the Best College for Sports Fans.
