ATHENS, Ga. – Track & field's Kimani Jack has been named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-America Second Team, announced by the CSC. Jack excelled both on the track and in the classroom during the 2026 season. The national champion in the high jump earned Second-Team Academic All-America honors after posting a 3.61 GPA while completing his master's degree in sport management and policy. The London native is a two-time SEC champion and All-American in the high jump. He captured the 2026 NCAA outdoor high jump title and owns both the Georgia indoor and outdoor school records in the event. His personal-best clearance of 2.31m/7-7 stands as the program record.


NEW ORLEANS – Georgia track & field earned national academic recognitions, claiming National Scholar Team of the Year honors, while numerous Georgia student-athletes received individual All-Academic recognition, announced by the USTFCCCA on Monday.  Both the women's indoor and outdoor team swept the National Scholar Team of the Year honors, while men were named National Scholar Team of the Year for the outdoor campaign. Additionally, 15 women and 15 men received all-academic honors.
