you're getting a pitch from every top tier team in the nation and many that aren't top teams...
Here's an example:
Team #1:
"Hey there buddy, MAN, you are good looking! We would like you to sign with us...now, I know, we haven't won much lately...but, you're going to change all that. You'll likely start the first game and we'll pay you $1M a year. With your talent, you're going to play in the NFL. Oh, we'll get you a fancy sports car and make sure your girlfriend gets admitted too. Look at this wall of pictures full of all the guys that have come through here and been successful "
Team #2:
"Hello you man...thanks for talking with us. If you sign with us you'll get top tier coaching, you'll get to play for conference and likely National Championships every year. With our coaches, training, nutritional program, training and a lot of hard work...you'll up your draft stock and likely be a top 3 rd pick in the NFL...maybe first round. IF you work hard and compete every day, you'll be starting at some point. We will pay you $300-$500K and make sure you get everything you need. We're a high-profile team and you'll have other ways to earn income as well. Look at this wall of pictures full of all the guys that have come through here and been successful. Oh, did I mention we will pay for your school?"

"Hey there superstar!!! We're so glad to have you and your family...glad to see you brought your aunt and uncle too! Let's start with the important stuff...Our offer is $3M up front with the Lamborghini right here...oh, you can pick another color if you like. Yes, we're buying your mom a house and we'll get your aunt one down the street. What?...of course, your brother can join the team!! Our practices aren't very hard and if you'd like to take Monday's off, that's okay too. Huh?...right, right...well, we won 11 games one time and played for the league championship...but, with you here...YOU could change all that. Class? Not unless you just WANT to go."
