ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia Bulldog softball team was selected to host the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional as the 10th overall seed from May 15-17 at the Jack Turner Stadium. It is the 14th NCAA Softball Regional to be played in Athens. The No. 10-seeded Bulldogs will host Clemson, UNC Greensboro and the College of Charleston in the four-team, double-elimination style event, beginning on May 15. The tournament kicks off on Friday with a clash between Clemson and UNC Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. ET before Georgia battles Charleston at 7:00 p.m. ET. The winner of Athens regional will advance to a three-game Super Regional with the Knoxville Regional winner the following weekend.
ATHENS, Ga. — A day after clinching the SEC regular season title, the fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs defeated the LSU Tigers, 12-1, in seven innings to complete the series sweep on Sunday at Foley Field. Sunday's win marks the first time in program history that Georgia has swept LSU. No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs (40-11, 20-6 SEC) will travel to take on No. 6 Auburn in the final SEC series of the regular season, beginning Thursday, May 14. First pitch is set for 8 p.m.
ANN ARBOR, Mi. — Georgia freshman Trinity Beth will tee off in the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on Monday morning looking to earn a spot in the field for the NCAA Championships. Beth with play with Minnesota golfers Isabella McCauley and Mariana Mesones for Monday's first round. The Ann Arbor Regional is one of six tournaments being contested Monday-Wednesday. From each Regional, the top-5 teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will go on to compete in the NCAA Championships on May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Beth is the No. 1 seed among the six individual competitors in the field in Ann Arbor and is currently ranked No. 59 nationally in the Scoreboard.com rankings powered by clippd.
