LEXINGTON, Ky. – The (9) No. 13-ranked Georgia Bulldogs are set to face (8) No. 18-ranked LSU Tigers tomorrow night in the final game of the second round of the 2026 SEC Softball Tournament at the John Cropp Stadium. Georgia enters the tie at 36-17 (12-12) while the Tigers are 37-16 (13-11). Georgia and LSU have met on 75 prior occasions, and the Tigers leads the all-time series 47-28. Senior right-handed pitcher Destin Howard was named to the 2026 SEC Softball Community Service Team after announcement by the Southeastern conference on Tuesday morning.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Georgia Track and Field collects a trio of SEC men's weekly awards at Torrin Lawrence Memorial announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. 

Freshman Jonathan Simms was named SEC Men's Runner of the Week for a historic finish in the 400 meter.

Graduate transfer Kimani Jack collected Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors after a record-setting performance in the high jump. 

Jayden Dailey claimed his first career SEC weekly award, earning Men's Freshman of the Week for his efforts in both the men's 4x100 and 100 meter dash.
