Real quick ....

If you're the prayin' kind, say a quick one, for my son to have an easy transition into Heaven.

He's at the very end of a four year battle against cancer.  42 years old, father of a 6 year old son. Took him to Piedmont Athens emergency room at midnight Saturday, spent a couple of days there in ICU, (They were wonderful to us), and transferred him to hospice Tuesday.  If I had to guess, I'd say today is the day.

It's hard.

I don't know if I can enjoy the Dawgs this fall, without him either sitting in the room with me, or texting back and forth about every other play.

I will say.................what he would say if I introduced him to y'all............"Go Dawgs!"

So sad to read of this. I understand your anguish. I have family and personal experience with The Big C, as John Wayne called it. May our Good Lord bless you and yours through this tribulation. I offer my prayers.

I am so very sorry. And, yes, there are no words that I can come up with to help ease your pain. We will certainly keep your son, you, and your entire family in our thoughts and prayers.
