Woof .....

GREENSBORO, Ga. --- Bulldog head football coach Kirby Smart was one of 26 current and former head coaches who took part in the 19th annual Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge at Reynolds Lake Oconee Tuesday. Despite the golf tournament being canceled after three holes due to inclement weather, the participating coaches each received $12,000 toward the charity of their choice.  Smart's portion will go towards the Kirby Smart Foundation, which supports children and families who are facing adversity.

Athens, Ga. — Georgia's Trinity Beth earned an individual invitation to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Wednesday. Beth, a freshman from Calvert City, Ky., will compete in the Ann Arbor Regional on May 10-13. On the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Championships:

"Obviously I'm disappointed we don't get to get to go and compete as a team because the team aspect is such at big part of college golf. I am excited I'll get to go and compete for an individual national championship."

ATHENS, Ga. - Last season, Georgia softball pitcher Randi Roelling threw 160.2 innings and had 107 strikeouts and 105 walks. Heading into the No. 14-ranked Bulldogs' series against No. 8 Florida this weekend at Jack Turner Stadium, the left-hander from Modesto, Calif., has 108 strikeouts and just 44 walks in 112.2 innings in the circle. The Bulldogs will wrap up their regular season against the Gators starting Thursday, and then head to the SEC tournament in Lexington, Ky., next week.

ATHENS, Ga. - On Feb. 21, at the USC Invite indoor track meet, Georgia runner Matias Reynaga came the closest a Bulldog ever has to breaking the magical 4 minute mark in the mile. He crossed the finish line in 4:00.24, with teammate Ryan Olree right behind him at 4:01.59. On Friday night, at the new UGA Track & Field Complex, Georgia's milers will compete under the lights at the Spec Towns Track as the kickoff to the Torrin Lawrence Memorial Invitational meet. The goal is to break 4 minutes.

ATHENS, Ga. - In a historic 2026 campaign, Daniel Jackson is rewriting the Georgia baseball record books. After becoming the first Bulldog and first SEC player to ever record 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in a season, Jackson hasn't slowed down. Heading into the final nine SEC games for the fifth-ranked Bulldogs, who sit atop the conference standings with a 15-8 record in league play, he boasts a .389 batting average, 23 home runs and 21 steals. He leads the SEC in batting average and homers, and is sixth in steals, and he's one of two players in the country with at least 20 home runs and 20 steals. As Georgia continues its push through conference play, the Bulldogs host Missouri this weekend, Jackson's historic production remains at the center of its success — a season that is as unprecedented as it is impactful.
