#11 and Uncle John

Yep, was able to spread some of UJD at #11 TEE, even though was more rules officials and gallery workers around than I predicted. That was one his main spots because it has been secluded compared to the rest of the course. We had some great times back there, especially loading up with a couple of "fistfuls" of co-beers.

One of my favorite memories was several years ago before the TEE was moved a couple of times. One day, we were needing to pee and we noticed a restroom behind some trees to the left. We were fairly numb by then and couldn't understand why nobody was back there. So, we had the bright idea to walk under the rope and take this small path to the restroom. Nobody was there so we were thought it was a brilliant idea. You guessed it.. after shaking it off a going back, a couple of players and a caddy walk in...lol. Thank goodness they were nice and we avoided trouble.

Saturday I noticed the path but it was too grown up to see if the players restroom was still back there. You can really see how far back the tee was actually moved because that path is a good indication where the TEE used to be...

Glad to hear the mission was successful. I'm sure UJD was pleased. I hope you had a good trip, the weather was about perfect all week other than being a little cool in the mornings.

We walked over in that area Friday morning and I thought about you and wondered if you were able to get the ashes past security. It really is amazing how far they have moved some of the tees back. The #15 tee is especially wild. I remember when it used to be on the other side of the service road (the green side) and now, it is tucked back into the area between the #10 green and the new #11 tee.

I think that players/caddies restroom is still there near the #11 tee and there is another one on #13 in the woods by the Nelson bridge. I saw a caddie jogging back into that area. I imagine there are a few scattered around the course.
