ESPN analyst names Georgia’s ‘top newcomer’ for 2026 season

ESPN’s Billy Tucker chose to highlight former Georgia Tech receiver Isiah Canion as UGA’s top newcomer.

Canion had a breakout sophomore season with the Yellow Jackets in 2025, going for 480 yards and 4 touchdowns. In his final game at Georgia Tech, he caught 4 passes for 54 yards against Georgia. At 6-foot-4, Canion could be a big help in getting Georgia’s passing attack to the next level.
