ATHENS, Ga. – No. 11 Georgia softball defeated Mercer, 18-1 (5 inn.), in a midweek clash at the Jack Turner Stadium to move to 24-8 on the season. The Bulldogs' 18 runs is a season-high, as well as the team's 17 hits. Georgia will hit the road to face Kentucky in Lexington for the second away conference series of the season.

ATLANTA, Ga. – A pair of All-American swims highlighted the first day of competition for the University of Georgia men's swimming and diving team Wednesday at the 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center. Following one night of competition, Georgia ranks 18th overall with 20 points.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Senior Carter Loflin of the Georgia men's golf team was named the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Week after finishing first at the Linger Longer Invitational last weekend. 

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A total of nine University of Georgia gymnasts were named to the 2026 All-SEC Gymnastics Team, with three appearing on the 2026 SEC All-Freshman Team, the league announced Wednesday. Sophomore Nyla Aquino, senior Csenge Bácskay, freshman Autumn Reingold, senior Ja' Free Scott, sophomore Harley Tomlin, junior Ady Wahl, freshman CaMarah Williams, senior Eryn Williams, and freshman Kelise Woolford collected All-SEC Team honors. Reingold, C. Williams, and Woolford also earned a place on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

ATHENS, Ga. — No. 28 Anastasiia Lopata was named SEC Player of the Week. She powered No. 1 Georgia women's tennis to a pair of statement SEC sweeps, going undefeated in doubles and clinching a victory in singles as the Bulldogs blanked No. 17 Florida and No. 4 Auburn, 4-0, to remain atop the conference.
