I'm mostly concerned about my mother and stepfather, both over 80. They have no generator and live in Columbia, SC, so if things get bad, I can't really get to them to help. They have a gas fireplace that they can use to heat some of the house, but they will be fully on their own until the ice melts.

I've got everything I need so that mean we probably won't get much of anything.

My phone's weather app says Saturday low of 35, Sunday low of 33. Hard to ice up at those temps. Monday and Tuesday low in the teens, but moisture gone by then.

Nobody knows what it's gonna do. We got food and plenty of firewood.

We'll be fine.

We're fine here if any frozen precip. We have everything we might need or want. I am a bit concerned about our oldest son and his family. They live in Mt. Juliet, Tn. It's about 10-15 miles east of Nashville. They are going to get popped if the weather guessers are correct. He says they will be ok, so there's that.

We are right on the edge in E.Cobb that changes by the minute. We don’t have a generator but have 2 gas fireplaces, gas hot water heater & plenty of non perishable food so we are OK, don’t care about ice just power outage…

Sounds like you guys will miss the ice. I haven’t really paid much attention to the news / forecast. Weather girl this morning says 0.25 to 1.0 inches here.
