Georgia carried the SEC in 2025 in more than one way

Georgia football once again won an SEC Championship this season, marking the second year in a row they were able to take down the conference and win the SEC's crown.
They were finally able to overcome Alabama in the championship game after countless losses to the Tide over the years.
Georgia also earned the top SEC seed in the College Football Playoff for the second year in a row, which again shows how dominant they have been over the rest of the SEC.
But not only is Georgia dominating the conference on the field, they are carrying the league when it comes to TV viewership numbers as well.
In 2024 Georgia was the most watched team in the country. They fell a little short of winning that title this year, but yet another year has gone by that has resulted in Georgia bringing in massive viewership numbers which is something most teams in the SEC are unable to do.
