Had my first and last White Castle today..

GF swears by them, but she was raised in Ohio.  It ain’t no Krystal, not close.

Grew up in Kentucky so had both. They are pretty interchangeable IMO. WC is a little more oniony and the bun gets a little soggy. Krystal's buns are sort of dry. Meat is about the same.

Same!  Guilty pleasure is Krystal once a year.  Takes about 30 minutes for me to hate myself for it.

I like Krystal better, myself. White Castle steams their buns longer in a hood on top of the meat so they usually come out soggier. Krystal doesn't use a hood, so they maintain a bready texture. And although I don't eat Krystal for their fries, they are better than WC's.
