Players made plays, but defensive schemes that confused the Bama OL made several of those big plays possible. Several sacks and pressures occurred because of DAWG player’s great speed and just a moment’s hesitation from the Tide OL.

And from the DB’s perspective, KJ Bolden’s great eye discipline and quick move made DE6’s INT possible.

Agree on both, it was a concern for sure re Center, they did a good job getting them ready..that NFL OL consultant they brought looks to be paying dividends.

He sure does and I have to wonder if Searles is really as bad as some think.  Our OL has been pretty solid with him.  I thought I liked Luke but Luke hasn't exactly set the world on fire at Clemson and I didn't see any noticeable drop off on the OL when he left.

Searles is 60.  I do have to wonder if he is getting a little long in the tooth to work with the young guys?
