Auburn declined a Bowl Bid? Advantage Georgia.

Cool

None of these teams are regular contenders for modern age National Championships. Must be beneath them to play Georgia Southern in Birmingham Bowl.

Only three of those teams have won a national championship. Last for ND way back in 1988. FSU has only won 3 just one this century. Use to mean something to FSU consecutive Bowl Streak. AU has only won 2 one this century, the other back in 1957.

I'm sort of liking this. Maybe some of the nothing bowls will go away and bowl eligibility will be changed to require a minimum of 7 P4 wins (FCS games don't count towards bowl eligibility) and bowls will mean something again. IMO; there should be no more than 13 bowl games. Only top 25 teams should play in bowls.

ESPN needs programming..they aren’t going away, many bowls do a lot for the local economy, charities, etc..
