Realize this isn’t a popular opinion. But, they were in before the game, and they have to be in after. You can’t force teams to play in a conference championship game and then let it keep them out. Bama was in if they didnt play in the SECCG.
The schedule was WAY tougher than almost every team getting in.
I don’t want to play them again…but, I know what we’d be saying if it were us.
You basically have to look at it as if that game didn’t happen for them.

BYU lost their conference championship and are out.
Virginia lost their conference championship and are out.
I'm not saying Bama is as bad as those 2 teams, but there is now a precedent for leaving out a conference championship loser...and by the way, the reason I believe the conference championship games are gonna disappear sooner than later.

I believe bama is a top 12 team. Those other two are not.

We will be healthier but so will Bama in a couple of weeks which makes them more dangerous.
Jam Miller is a huge upgrade from Hill. Overton will be back as well as the starting TE which was also a big loss for them.
BUT, if they are in they will have a tough road game to play.
