Jared Curtis thoughts...
#1
I keep seeing stories about how Vandy is going to flip Curtis.  While I don't really want to lose him to Vandy, I have to wonder if it is something to really be concerned about.

Curtis plays for a private Christian school in the smallest division of Tennessee HS football.  I know Curtis has the physical tools to look good but what are the chances he is another Vandergriff or Eason?  I look at Arch Manning and see a lot of similarities in the HS hype.  My experience with these small private Christian school 5 stars has been that they very rarely shine in big time college football.

Is Curtis going to be that kid who can actually be a great college qb after playing against small, slow, white dbs throughout HS?  Maybe Kirby can find another South Georgia qb to walk on and lead Georgia to glory.

I agree with these thoughts. We had the idea Vandergriff was the next big thing coming from a small school but he WAS a big time 5 star recruit for OU. I think HE didn't put the work in on football as much as he should have.
A lot of this stuff about Curtis is clickbait. The articles are still saying he went for a visit to Vanderbilt. So? He got back to Athens and made sure to say he only honored his obligations to visit for other recruits, etc. They are putting them out as if Pavia isn't appealing for a 7th year of eligibility right now too. It's easy to get a lot of attention with the articles but unfortunately the info is old.
Now, his mom has stated HER preferences online and that closes down the mama wants him to stay in-town. If all these things add up he'll stay with his re-commit team. I am sure we are looking to make sure someone can play if Gunner gets hurt and another QB transfers. Hopefully everyone makes the best decision for the University WE love.

It’s not an exact science for sure…even the NFL has draft busts…even after watching them in College..

Wondering if Kirby is even the right man for the job if he misses on another REAL QB and again settle for a slightly above serviceable slow white kid. Really limits bobos options to stretch the field

Cool

Jamie Lee had about a perfect body, all natural too, no "enhancements" at all.

Of course, her mother was a show pony too in her prime.

A blue collar 4 star would probably work out better, based on previous QB names mentioned.

Clone SBIV and make him qb forever imo.

Don’t disagree with any of this….but, Curtis is significantly better than BVG.
