ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia baseball scored 35 runs on 29 hits while 14 Bulldog pitchers saw action during an 18-inning exhibition against West Georgia Sunday at Foley Field. Meanwhile, the Wolves managed five runs on 16 hits on the day. The 2026 baseball season opens Friday, Feb. 13.

Fast Facts On The Georgia-MSU Series:

Georgia leads the series 21-6. Last year in Athens, Georgia posted 605 yards of total offense in a 41-31 win for its fifth straight victory over MSU. Georgia's last visit to Starkville came in 2022, and the Red and Black Bulldogs came home with a 45-19 win. Georgia is averaging 32.5 points a game while MSU comes in with a 33.2 average. The Bulldogs are allowing just 19.6 points a game while MSU surrenders 24.7 points a game. MSU's defense leads the SEC with 11 interceptions while the Bulldogs have tallied four. 

ATHENS, Ga. — No. 5 Georgia football will play host to No. 13 Texas at 7:30 p.m. on ABC when their matchup arrives in Athens Saturday, Nov. 15. The Bulldogs (7-1, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) will play the Longhorns (7-2,4-1) in UGA's eighth SEC game in row when Texas comes to Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium.  This will be Georgia's third 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC this season.

PENSACOLA, Fla. - No. 17 Georgia soccer begins its SEC Tournament run Tuesday with a quarterfinal matchup against Kentucky, the second meeting of the season between the teams. Over the past three seasons, all four meetings between the teams have been ties or one-goal wins for Georgia. 

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Lady Bulldogs opened the 2025-26 women's basketball season with a win over the Alabama State Hornets, 73-44, on Monday evening. Newcomers helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to victory in a stellar offensive performance. Georgia's marks its 20th straight season-opening win, dating back to the 2005-06 season. The Lady Bulldogs are now 31-2 in season-opening home contests. The Lady Bulldogs will be back in Stegeman Coliseum Thursday, Nov 6., against Furman.

ATHENS, Ga. – Led by 15 points apiece from Blue Cain and Jeremiah Wilkinson, the Georgia Bulldogs basketball (1-0) defeated the Bellarmine (Louisville, Kentucky) Knights (0-1) 104-59 in their season opener at Stegman Coliseum on Monday night. Georgia's 45-point win was the Bulldogs' largest margin of victory since defeating Seattle, 103-58, on Nov. 28, 1986. Georgia remains at home and welcomes Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m.
