Conspiracy theorists will say Gunner not scoring at the end was proof that Vegas had called and didn't want Georgia covering.

I think scoring would have been the way to go..snapping the ball is risky too…

I agree, take the points.

If we can’t win when up by 11 with 1:30 or whatever time was left on the clock, we didn’t deserve to win.

I agree, 11 point lead with 1:30 to go is as close to a lock as you can get.  Victory formation is safe but isn't 100% guaranteed.

Also, 31-20 looks a lot better than 24-20.

Or maybe Kirby doesn’t trust the defense.

I years’ past, we’d pin our ears back and dominate a team in the last 1.5 minutes.

Those who know Kirby will say that it was the abrasions still on Gunners ass from the last time when Kirby wanted him to take a knee.

We lost 3 players to injury in that game.    Why make you defense play 30-40 sec of garbage time when people get hurt.

I also totally see that point…

Hot take, we play Bama again in the SECCG, and win

With the amount of injuries piling up, no need to risk more injuries when a team is in desperation mode.

The way our DBs covered Saturday...and really all season, the kneel down was the smart play.
