Gotta tackle better. Against Ole Miss whether the play was up the middle or to the edge it was the 2nd or 3rd who finally made the tackle several yards after first contact. It seems to be extremely rare for this edition of DAWG Defense to make solo tackles, especially in the open field.

When you are 8 games into the season, you know what you have. I don't look for any great improvement in tackling or pressure. It isn't like the players are suddenly going to discover some new technique they were unaware of.

They seem to make adjustments.  I just hate that it takes until halftime to figure it out.  It's like they don't watch film, and the start of the game is the first time they are seeing the opposing offense.  I wish they could get more pressure on the QB, but I'm not smart enough to understand why they aren't, even when they run the blitz.  Is it a talent issue or a lack of preparedness?
