(SIAP) Georgia opens as a 7.5 point favorite...

over the gators.
1. Will the Gators rebound.  Has Napier been holding them back?
2. Will they try to do what they have been doing....only execute it better?
3. Will they put in a bunch of new wrinkles and be a very different team?
4. Will a big play make them implode?
5. Will Georgia show up in the first half?
6. Did we improve our pass defense in these two weeks or do we simply not have the talent to do so?
7. You could argue they have film on us.....but we may not have film on them.....depending upon what they do
8.  The Gators will play all out.....what do they have to lose?
9. The Gators are off to a terrible start and they fire their coach.....and we are only a 7.5 point favorite.....
10.  What are the Vegas guys thinking?

I can see 10-3 UF at the half, Georgia wins the game 24-17.  Vegas is usually pretty good at setting lines.

Big bright buildings weren’t free.  Smile

I think it’s more of a 2 TD game..

I hope you're right.

My father tells the story of the first time he went to Vegas.  It was in the late '60s and he walked into Caesar's Palace, looked at the marble floors and the huge chandeliers and all the lights, he looked at his friend he was with and said "these folks ain't losing".

I'm constantly amazed at how many times the half point in the line makes the difference in a team covering or not.

Regression to the Mean is what built all those shiny buildings.

I predict Florida plays with a lot more focus and determination. That usually happens on the first game out when a coach is fired mid-season. Mainly because the big ? is removed from everyone's mind, there is a sense of resolution and players can finally play with nothing to lose.

It's a dangerous situation to face. We had better be focused and not think this will be a cakewalk. That said, I am sure Kirby is aware of all that, and he knows how important it is to beat Florida.
