I thought the same thing at the time.  The going for it on 4th against Bama and that 2 pt conversion call have made me a little uneasy about Kirby's decision making this season.

Good points. I feel most of the time when there is more than 5 minutes left in the game going for 2 is a poor choice.

If they had gone down and scored at the end it could have come back to haunt us, giving them a chance to tie with a two point play.
