ATHENS, Ga. — In an offense-heavy matchup of top-10 teams Saturday afternoon at Sanford Stadium, it was ninth-ranked Georgia's defense that came through in the fourth quarter against No. 5 Ole Miss. The Rebels scored touchdowns on their first five possessions in the game, but the Bulldogs shut them down late and pulled out a 43-35 win. With today's win, the No. 5 Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) improve to 54-5 at home under Coach Smart. Georgia 8-0 against top 10 ranked opponents under Coach Smart. Georgia notched another win with ESPN College GameDay in town too. Georgia is 9-2 when the show is on campus including nine straight wins dating to 2013. The Bulldogs are off next Saturday before heading to Jacksonville to take on Florida on Nov. 1 at EverBank Stadium.
ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia volleyball team picked up a gritty, five-set victory on Sunday over Mississippi State, 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 25-27, 16-14), behind 29 kills from junior Bianna Muoneke. Georgia's improves to 13-5 on the season and 5-3 in SEC play with its fifth-straight victory. Georgia is back on the road next weekend for a pair of matches. First, the Bulldogs travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Friday at 8 p.m. ET. It's then on to Columbia, Missouri for a showdown with the Missouri Tigers on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.

ATHENS, Ga. - In the last home contest of the regular season, the 19th-ranked University of Georgia soccer team tied the Auburn Tigers 1-1 in front of 1,820 fans at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Georgia closes out the regular season at Mississippi State on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. in Starkville.
