I also agree with that..I have no clue how the tiebreakers work anymore..I assume head to head comes first..but we don’t play A&M or OU or Vandy for that matter..Vandy? WTF?

Oh, I wouldn't cry. No guaranteed bye for conference champs this year either. Although, I would assume a 1 loss SEC champ would still be top 4.

Playing in a conference championship game is a disadvantage. IMO. Especially an SECCG.

I concur.   I'd rather see the playoff go to 16 teams with no byes.
