This is a big topic, and I think I know the audience here...the "Game Experience"...

I am curious how many people renewed this year because of the Bama/Texas/Ole Miss home games. I’m also curious whether or not quite a few of those will drop off this year with less marquee teams coming to Athens. I would also imagine that local merchants are a bit upset with the UGAA since they had an opportunity to get a bonus game in Athens with UF, but chose to reward Atlanta.
The college football landscape is changing, and I don’t believe anyone knows where it winds up.

Live executions played to rap with orgies in the stands while being fed grapes would be my guess.

If anything, the 9 game schedule will bring better games more often to Sanford…and Atlanta and Tampa rewarded UGA and UF with a $$$ offer they couldn’t refuse..

Unless I got to go to the student section for the orgies, I think I'd pass on that aspect of halftime entertainment.

(10-15-2025, 11:29 AM)Replying to Tomato Sandwich If you are over 60 UGA likely DNGAF about your opinion. They are recruiting young people to buy your season tickets once you can't anymore.

Some truth to that.  But, I'd bet the money they take is from the "over 60's" is like 75%.  If you go "over 50" I'd bet it's close to 90%.

They don't have a choice but to care about those opinions.

But for the most part they have y'all regardless.  I do think it will be interesting to see the future of college football as there are less and less Boomer fans to participate.

This is very true.  I see a lot of Gen X types at tailgates but I think their interest is driven a lot by the fact they have kids at Georgia as students.  Once their kids are gone, I'm not sure if they will be season ticket buyers and donors.  My daughter is a Gen Y/millennial and almost none of her friends who graduated with her at Georgia are season ticket buyers.  They all generally go to one or two select games a year buying tickets on the secondary market.  I have no idea what the Gen Z crowd will do when they graduate in substantial numbers but I don't see them as loyal enough fans to donate and buy season tickets.  They don't seem overly committed to much of anything that requires effort on their part.

I think Boomers and Gen X are driving the boat.

I think you're going to see 2-3 neutral site games for each team every year and maybe more for the big teams.   That's where we are headed.   Too much money to pass up to Toccoa's point and every team is hungry for that few extra million now for NIL.   Let's be honest...south Georgia doesn't sell more onions because Ladd advertises for them.   Sooner or later these NIL sponsors are going to realize there isn't much in it for them.  Sure, if they're just looking for a vehicle to give away money, no problem.   Real return...zero.

I also think Toccoa is right in that many folks re-upped their tickets this year due to the home schedule.

It's about to get interesting.

Lordy where to start? I'll just say this, most if not all (to some degree) the comments in this thread, I am in agreance. So, there is no sense in repeating. Just suffice it to say, the music is terrible, it is too loud, the ribbon info is too small, and it is sad. Of course I am old so my taste in music and decency is different. However, this is our last year of season tickets. It has been a great trip, but it is too hard now. And to expensive, so we are done. We will be Dawgs for the rest of our lives, but not to extent of everything else. I hope the young folk can continue to support the Dawgs, but I fear I am seeing this too fade away. Just not the same, but then what is? Our turn is almost over, I hope and pray the torch will still burn bright for a longtime. Go Dawgs!

I could see some downsized capacity, with hopefully nicer seating, more room etc..premium experience..sort of like what Mizzou is doing in that one endzone I saw last weekend..

Oh and congrats to everyone for not going off the rails on this topic, some interesting takes..

Yes!    Thanks for saying that!    It went where I wanted it to go vs where it could have gone.
