On the Kirby “timeout”…everyone needs to watch this…

The whole episode was bizarre. IMO; they should have either called delay of game or timeout, they simply reset the clock which made no sense at all. The play clock was at "0" so it was either a timeout or a penalty.

He is saying that the deep safety is clapping and simulating our clap? With all of that noise in the stadium our guys gonna hear the deep safety? I get what he was trying to do but I don't think that safety affected the play.

Announcers were only slightly better than the officials.  They would not let the fumble go, still showing replays and commenting on it in the second half.

I was glad to hear Kirby's explanation too.  Apparently, someone in the booth had been telling him they were clapping all night and that is when he said something about it.

Mcelroy slid in at one point that “the truck” reviewed the fumble and it was, in fact, the correct call.
