And mental help at home.    Saw two places today call him the biggest bust ever in college football.

With his pedigree, his own high school success and projections/expectations…he has to be down on himself.   I know he will never want for anything monetary, but dang, that’s just hard sledding.

He seems like a great person too.

Just a tough deal all around.

He has about 6 million reasons to be happy. I'm not worried about him at all.

Yep, I acknowledged as much.    Lots of very wealthy people have mental health issues.   Hopefully, he has a strong support group.   The Ryan Leaf horror stories are out there.

Really ain't his fault they built him up so much. Oh, Warby Parker wants to write me a check? Ok. Viouri wants to write me a check? Fine. TX want's to load me up with NIL cash? More please. He's above average for sure but that's about it IMO.

All the signs were there when he was at Newman..padded stats against poor completion but couldn’t do anything when they played a good private school. As many have said he’s a three star at best without the last name. The mechanics, field awareness, etc isn’t going be easily fixed while under the spotlight either. Being on TX campus for three years, you’d think the staff would’ve seen these things and corrected them. I usually look down on private HS QB’s coming out with the hype they get, but Puglisi looks like the shit. I think he’s the best QB we have on the roster. Imagine if TX had him.

I hope he feels and plays awful every time he plays GEORGIA. Otherwise I don't really care.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He's being paid a lot of money, he should be doing the job he's being paid to do at the level his employer expects him to do it. The days of college athletes being beloved figures playing for the love of the school and the sport are over. The players wanted to be paid employees. Now, they have to live with the good and the bad of what they demanded.

You’re not wrong JC. Just looking at the human side. I guess I have a soft spot for arch. Feel like he did things the right way.

Three years ago, before NIL, I would have agreed with you 100%.  Arch worked the system to maximize his revenue, he isn't some kid who loves the University of Texas and loves playing football and is doing his best for "Good Old State U", he's at Texas because they were the highest bidder.  For three years, all we've heard is "Arch, Arch, Arch" and how great he is and is going to be.  He has taken the money and the fame, now he needs to produce what he sold Texas on when they recruited him.

I don't hate him but I don't feel sorry for him.  If the pressure is too much, he can always transfer and take a pay cut.

That’s all true
