Woof™ For 16th Best Season in History of UGA Football #6 Final AP Poll (SEC Champs)

ATHENS, Ga. – Following a career-best performance at Ole Miss, University of Georgia freshman forward Hailey Gordon was named Southeastern Conference Co-Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Gordon shared the honor with Mississippi State midfielder Laila Murillo. Gordon helped No. 21 Georgia reach a 3-0 start in SEC play for the first time since 2007 with two goals in a 4-1 win at Ole Miss. The Las Vegas native scored her first career goal in the 39th minute as she took a pass from teammate Virginia Odom and turned around for the score. Later, in the 77th minute, she closed out the scoring for the Bulldogs as she streaked up field to put away a cross from Cate Hardin. Gordon and the rest of the Bulldogs will play host to Florida on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Turner Soccer Complex. Admission is free for all spectators, and the match will stream on SEC Network+. Fans are encouraged to wear red and the first 500 will receive a replica red Georgia soccer jersey at halftime.

ATHENS, Ga. - The 2025 Bulldogs have 22 players listed at 6-5 or taller, with another 24 measuring 6-4. Back in 2010, Georgia had 19 players 6-5 or taller on its roster. Five years later, the 2015 team had just seven players 6-5 or above.

ATHENS, GA. - The SEC Nation traveling pre-game show will originate from Myers Quad from 10 a.m. to Noon ET Saturday on the SEC Network.
